In their second year of college, Devon Williamson known mononymously, by their professional name De'Sember found themselves working a modest job, where a routine task became a catalyst for positive change. Night after night, they witnessed perfectly good food being discarded. Motivated by a desire to make a difference, De'Sember approached their manager with an idea: rather than wasting this food, why not donate it to the local summer and after-school Kidz Club? The club served as a vital resource in their community, particularly situated in a food desert. The manager agreed, and the impact was immediate. As word spread about this simple yet impactful initiative, De'Sember became the talk of the town. Inspired by the positive response and recognizing the potential to do more, they were approached with the idea to formalize their efforts into an organization dedicated to charitable deeds. Thus, the journey began to create an organization that goes beyond food donations, embracing a mission of generosity and community support. Today, De'Sember's organization stands as a beacon of goodwill, embodying the power of small actions to ignite significant change.

De'Sember Cares, has evolved into a comprehensive force for good. What began with food donations soon expanded its reach, embracing a broader vision of community support. Today, De'Sember Cares not only provides nourishment but extends its benevolence to clothing, school supplies, toys, and envisions even more diverse avenues of aid in the future. Rooted in the belief that compassion knows no bounds, the organization is dedicated to making a positive impact on various aspects of people's lives, embodying the spirit of generosity and care in every endeavor.
